With a Master’s degree in Economics and specialized studies in agricultural economics, horticulture, and soil science, I bring a strong foundation of knowledge to my gardening endeavors. Despite having a demanding job outside of gardening, I devote my personal time to researching and exploring various gardening topics. This keen interest has grown into a passion, driving me to assist new gardeners and anyone interested in starting their own gardening journey.

My husband, Deep, who is also a working professional, has been a constant source of encouragement, inspiring me to share my knowledge online to reach and help more people. He also manages the technical aspects of this website, allowing me to focus on creating valuable content.

My journey into sustainable gardening began in childhood, watching my mom repurpose kitchen scraps into her flower pots. This early exposure to sustainability planted the seeds of my interest in finding organic solutions to reduce waste. As I grew older and began cooking on weekends, I became more aware of the significant waste generated during food preparation. Motivated to find an eco-friendly solution, I began exploring biodegradable methods of managing kitchen scraps, which led me to discover a broader world of sustainable gardening practices.

As I delved deeper, my curiosity expanded beyond waste management to include both traditional and modern methods of growing plants. I thoroughly enjoy experimenting with various gardening techniques and layouts, selecting plants that thrive in different climates and spaces. This hobby has brought me immense happiness and fulfillment.

Whether you’re just starting out or unsure where to begin, I believe that anyone, even with limited space, can create a thriving garden. I regularly encourage my friends and family to embark on their gardening journey, starting with simple organic kitchen gardens. I’m here to guide you through the basics of gardening—whether on a balcony or in a backyard—offering support and advice every step of the way.

I make it a point to visit gardens and plant nurseries regularly, continuously learning and staying inspired. While I may not consider myself a traditional gardener, I find great joy in guiding and coaching others on their gardening path.

I started this blog to connect with new gardeners and those interested in beginning their gardening journey, offering guidance on the finer details of gardening that can sometimes be overwhelming for beginners.
